If you feel you are "too good" to take small jobs, work on miniscule tasks and work your way up, working at home may not be for you. Humility goes an incredibly long way in life in general. It will help you to take things more in stride than you ever would if you allowed your ego to overcome you. When it comes to working at home, it's not always glorious and it often doesn't pay big at first. You may not be contracting with a large company or be receiving huge paychecks. You will be learning valuable skills, working on your interpersonal ways and preparing yourself for the big times. Sometimes you'll have to do small things like surveys. Other days, you may not have any work at all. When it really gets bad, some companies/individuals who may have offered decent work at home gigs in the past might just close up shop on you. Let's not forget that the cool idea, business or entrepreneural venture you started might not be selling so easily to others. One thing we can tell you is that if you stick with it, remain humble and put hope out in front, you will make a fair income and might even be the CEO of a Fortune 500 business in the future. It all starts with humility and the rest will follow.
